#10 Form

Form (Core course, Lesson #10)

Sonnets, villanelles, haiku, sestinas, abecedarians, lipograms, cinquains etc., etc. Form can be an intimidating and frustrating thing, and yet to write in form is a sign of the ‘serious poet’. No wonder many of us go in fear of form, or find ourselves hopelessly hung up on it. This class takes the pressure off and provides practical advice for using forms.

A perfect class for beginners new to form, or for any poet who may struggle with working in form.

What is included in this class:

  • Writing exercises: two exercises getting to grips with form.
